I've been thinking about this 3G shutdown malarkey.
People buy devices and services from mobile carriers with a reasonable expectations of being able to use them until their device reaches EOL. If carriers turn off 3G, while there are customers with devices that need it to access all current services, this is a bait-and-switch. Not fair trading practice.
