Cara Nox 🗡️🍂 is writing🗡️🍂 Working on the final installment of The Wild Hunt feels so surreal. I remember when I was working through the initial concept in 2023, piecing together options for the ending, and now I'm here—actually writing it.
I do want to take my time cleaning up A TRIAL OF WRATH & RUIN while working on book three, A TITHE OF SOULS & DREAMS, just to be sure there's nothing more I want to add or dive into before I close out the series.
This final book will push further into the darker parts of being "othered" and feeling alienated, primarily in form of strong parallels to living with autism and the changeling references that have been associated with it. While it is a romantic dark fantasy, the underlying narrative I've stuck to has been one of finding self-worth and acceptance—two things I've greatly struggled with my entire life. Even though I feel satisfied with the impending conclusion to this tale, I hope readers will feel the same. 🖤
