I've been banned from FB twice and my KittyCat was banned from Instagram within a week after I was banned from TikTok.

Just so you know, my Palestinian friends have found your pod to be problematic; it has been fedibanned by many instances, but fortunately not my own because it is the first pod many #facebookrefugee folks find out about so I get to welcome you home.

It's no big deal to switch pods or post on multiple pods if you have multiple interests.

I love you all and hope you have a great day. I just wanted to mention that mastodon.social has been a problematic instance and is fediblocked on many pods.

Please refollow me on your new pod if you run into the same problems my friends have unless you are into the Christian religion or have other, personal reasons for being antagonistic to the existential nihilist perspective.

Mutual Aid is always greatly appreciated, but "xtian charity" and prey-ers are unacceptable.

Since monotheism is apparently a thing and I'm currently studying the Clear Quran, private and appropriate conversations about Islam are welcome, but please respect my friends' and followers' religious beliefs and/or lack thereof.

I didn't just decide to join Mastodon because of what's happening at Twitter. I am interested in seeing if the grass is greener in a social world without algorithms.

I've been on FB for a long time. My page is not huge but of my 15k followers a fortunate post may reach 1k people. This one is not quite there yet... But I LOL'd when I saw that money beg from Facebook under it. This is legit what it says, no photoshop. 😆

War es das jetzt mit #NeuHier im #fediverse? Aber selbst wenn, hat sich die Zahl der Nutzer ja doch verfünffacht und wenn von denen neuen nur die Hälfte oder auch nur ein viertel wirklich hier aktiv bleiben, ist es doch der größte Anstieg der Nutzerzahlen seit es das Fediverse gibt.

Die Statistik meines eigenen Servers sieht so aus:
Derzeit kennt dieser Knoten 14.682 andere Knoten (mit 1.957.085 aktiven Nutzern im letzten Monat, 2.950.515 aktiven Nutzern im letzten halben Jahr, 6.400.115 registrierten Nutzern insgesamt)
Also gut ein Drittel der registrierten Nutzer sind im letzten Monat auch wirklich aktiv gewesen. Gar nicht mal so wenig, wie ich finde.

Alle anderen Wellen von neuen Nutzern waren bei weitem nicht so groß (und vermutlich auch nachhaltig), wie der aktuelle #Twexit. Irgendwann vor ein paar Jahren als #Facebook mal wieder seine Nutzungsbedingungen geändert hat, kamen einige, es wurden dann ganz enthusiastisch Gruppen wie @facebookrefugees oder @replacefacebook gegründet, aber da passiert schon lange nichts mehr und ich glaube, die meisten #facebookrefugee s sind schon lange nicht mehr hier.

Dann wurde #GooglePlus irgendwann dicht gemacht und es schlugen hier und insbesondere im #Diaspora Teil des Fediverse eine größere Anzahl an #googleplusrefugee s auf. Davon waren allerdings die meisten auf einer eigens eingerichteten Diaspora Instanz (die leider auch schon wieder geschlossen wurde). Von denen blieben aber meiner Beobachtung nach mehr hier hängen als von den Facebook-Wechslern. Mal schauen, wie viele der Twitter-Wechsler wirklich langfristig und aktiv hier bleiben. Auch wenn es für einige langjährige Fediverse Bewohner gerade wie ein kleiner Kulturschock wirkt, hoffe ich doch, dass diesmal mehr Menschen hier bleiben.

So, da hier wohl gerade einige #GooglePlus Immigranten ankommen, hier mal wieder die Liste mit einige "offiziellen" Accounts. Für die neuen gibt es hier bei ~friendica auch ein #newhere Forum, das auch von Diaspora genutzt werden kann (einfach als Kontakt zufügen): newhere@social.isurf.ca https://social.isurf.ca/profile/newhere.

Damit alle, die #neuhier sind auch mal etwas in ihrem Stream zu sehen bekommen, ist hier mal eine Übersicht über "offizielle" Präsenzen von Institutionen, Bloggern usw. im #fediverse. Das soll jetzt mal keine Liste mit gespiegelten Newsfeeds sein, sondern wirklich aktive Konten.

Die Liste ist hoffentlich nicht vollständig und kann gerne in den Kommentaren erweitert werden. Alle, die hier in der Liste auftauchen, sind auch mehr oder weniger aktiv. Ich werde diese Liste auch regelmäßig aktualisieren.

Es wäre natürlich toll, wenn möglichst viele diesen Konten folgen, damit die verantwortlichen Redakteure usw. sehen, das es Sinn macht, auch hier ein Konto zu haben und nicht nur eine Handvoll Nerds damit bespielt werden.

Zum Folgen dieser Accounts einfach dem Link folgen und auf Verbinden klicken, oder den Link kopiert, bei euch unter Kontakte geht, im Feld Neue Kontakte hinzufügen den Link einfügt und auf Verbinden klickt.
