I finally ordered a new digital camera.
I ordered the Kodak PixPro FZ45. It's a 16 megapixel "point-and-shoot" digital camera with 4x optical zoom and the ability to record 1080p video at 30 fps. The Kodak brand is used under license, Kodak did not manufacture it.
A requirement for any new digital camera I would purchase, the PixPro FZ45 uses AA #batteries, so my camera life cycle isn't dictated by some proprietary #battery. I'm fine with #NIMH rechargeable AAs.
My Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W120 camera is dead. I bought it in late 2008 and I carried it every day I left the house until this year.
The proprietary battery has been dying for awhile now, not holding a charge, but now it tells me to turn it off and on again every time I try to turn it on.
I've needed a replacement pocket digital camera for a few months. I think I found the one I want. I'm eying the Kodak PixPro FZ45. It uses AA batteries, which is a requirement.
