DirkI couldn't decide what I wanted to listen to yesterday, so I scrolled down a bunch in Kore and landed on OSI.
They made some cool music, shame they're no longer active it seems. I'd describe their music as #ProgMetal, a bit #Tool'ish, and a bit #PorcupineTree'ish, as in #FOABP-era.
According to their Wikipedia entry they had #StevenWilson and #MikaelAkerfeldt as guests, and I'm convinced I heard #TimBowness singing on a track, too...
Saw #PorcupineTree Official posting this on Instagram. They're advertising the release of #FOABP Deluxe edition. It's an image either from the music video, or in style of the music video.
I can't help but feel that the person on the TV screen is #DavidTennant? Like, from the #DoctorWho episode "Blink"? Because, both the album and that episode came out in 2007. And the song lyrics have a Doctor Who reference in them anyway.

Co-#PorcupineTree-Fan of mine pointed this out yesterday. #FOABP Deluxe Edition that'll be around 100€.
Yeah sure, some material on that one might be nice and interesting, and the album is highly relevant in the band's history, I guess. But still it feels a bit scummy and cash-grab'y to sell this at that price.

Sie klingt nach #PorcupineTree. Wenn ihr was Neues, Anderes, Innovatives erwartet, dieses Album isses nicht. Bedient einfach die Fans, die #TheIncident und #FOABP mochten. Stagnation.
Laut Interviews sind PT natürlich auch schon ewig dabei, Songs zu schreiben für diese Veröffentlichung. Und das Album ist auch nicht "schlecht". Es klingt gut, und ich mochte die letzten beiden Alben. FOABP mehr als Incident. Also, es ist gut, aber kein großer Wurf.
