I bet the brothers at #Fntastic ran out of money and decided to make another scam.

Do they deserve a second chance?

I think the question is if anybody give them money... again. Write your redemption arc however you want, but don't count on people falling again by giving them money.

Der #TheDayBefore-Entwickler #Fntastic ist zurück. Das zweite #Spiel des Studios entpuppt sich nach nur kurzer Zeit aber wohl als weiterer #AssetFlip. Dennoch will man via #Kickstarter Geld von Gamern sammeln. https://winfuture.de/news,145626.html?utm_source=Mastodon&utm_medium=ManualStatus&utm_campaign=SocialMedia
The Day Before: Entwickler versucht wohl ähnliche Masche bei 2. Spiel

So I've just seen #TheDayBefore dev #Fntastic is back with both an apology tour around "regaining trust", and has also launched a kickstarter to fund their new game, which appears to be dramatically less ambitious then The Day Before was.

It's interesting that:

1. They're asking for such a small amount of money; and
2. They're actually a decent amount funded despite only live for a day or two.

For 12k (USD?) you get an exclusive dinner with the studio founder. Tasty.

The devs behind the infamous “The Day Before” game are seemingly at it again with a Kickstarter for a game called Escape Factory. They’ve rebranded (kinda) as Fntastic 2.0.

Do not fall for it and do not back them! You’ll just get scammed out of your money.

The Day Before developer Fntastic has come out of the woodwork to announce its return.

The Day Before studio Fntastic is back on Kickstarter to try to fund a multiplayer obstacle course platformer | Massively Overpowered

Oof.. the "studio" behind the miserably failed game 'The Day Before', #Fntastic is back after some time asking for funding for a new game

They scrubbed their social media to remove all references from their previous endeavor so they can ask the public again for funding

This is a studio that did not pay their dev's, lied again and again, scammed thousands of people and now they ask to be trusted again

Yeah.. it doesn't work like that
