The US seems to see fit to transfer them, as if they would have any authority to do so, from the UK to Argentina, in retaliation for UK non-participation in Iran strikes. It seems that the US does not understand that NATO only applies to attacks on Atlantic and Mediterranean seaboard territory, which Iran has not done, and thus there has been no cause to invoke a NATO article. #lang_en #FKPol #ARPol #GBPol #USPol
and yes, I sometimes use a frenchified version of the Spanish name of those islands in English, because I have only limited respect for the British claim. (it is, however, greater than my respect for the Argentine claim, which is negative.
