@MatWright ... I'm not even sure what these people think they mean (they're probably trying to do something hiddenly racist with it...) - though the scary part is that the concept rings somewhat true. It's not going to change my vote - I know that, in addition to being queerphobic, conservatives always make things worse for the average person faster than even this milquetoast NDP - but the concept rings somewhat true. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Managed_decline #CApol #CApol_BC #lang_en

Americans must all feel like they have appendicitis right now. #lang_en #USpol
@volpeon he looks roughly 30% foxier (than what? I'm just gonna leave it dimensionless) #lang_en

I really was sent home from a full-blown ileocecal (at least) resection as if it was just appendectomy. Like, sure, I have a lower risk of leaks than most resectionites (I have no autoimmune colitis that I know of), but low is not zero, and I fucking hurt/have other worrying symptoms at 3 weeks post-op in a way that worries me that I’ve managed to have a leak.

The fediverse is uncritically posting that guy. #lang_en
should I be worried about possibly mispronouncing pero as peró if i also speak a language that has a word that's a rounding error away from /peˈɾɔ/ for that meaning? (in your area, is such a pronunciation common?) #lang_en
Say someone had had an ileocolic resection and wanted to be receptive in terms of anal sex. Obviously the anastomosis still not being fully healed has to be considered a contraindication, but could they do it after 12 weeks, and would they, for instance, be increasing their risk of SIBO? #lang_en
i have a higher salt consumption than most, but I get annoyed when too much salt is added to things like ham #lang_en
@BoozyBadger I think the cup cozy design is cute. That might be the only good thing there. #lang_en
