We explore the geography of fare-free #PublicTransport (#FFPT) in the United States: 259 urban #transit agencies (out of 400) suspended fares during the first 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the end of 2021, more than 73 of them had kept free fares, on top of 29 that had existed before 2020.
