Extra Life 2024 - For the last 12 years I've been fundraising for Children's Miracle Network and the Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital through Extra Life - gaming for good!
Back in 2013 I was contacted by a local radio station DJ from 105.7 The X asking if I would be interested in helping kick start a new fundraising program benefiting Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital that was focused on gaming. Needless to say I was stoked and honored to bring in more gamers to raise funds for the kids in our own backyard.
In those 12 years, I've gotten the chance to meet some of these Miracle Children and see them grow and flourish. Watching them go from kids, to highschoolers, and even COLLEGE students has been so awesome.
In the last couple of years, a few of them even became Extra Life participants themselves!
So join me in celebrating not only their lives, but helping ensure that the lives of future kids (and their families) are well taken care of and get the chance to live a great life.
