@macroliter It is, because Twitter's global audience is big enough that it's able to reach almost every country and be USEFUL in MANY ways to people without easy access to vital information.
Which is why #EvilRich scumbags like Musk are buying up such platforms to destroy or twist them to their own ends.
Alternatives like Mastodon are great, but are siloed, which cuts down on their instanews usefulness.
@alexandrad1 it's shocking, but as I've said for years, the #EvilRich don't operate on the same level of reality as the 99%:
