I've been figuring out pixies and how to use them. At some point, I realized that you can store them in special bottles (blue for two, pink for six) to use later and put them in storage chests and release them in the pixie cave. So, I've been sorting them. Rainbow pixies are harder to spawn.

My daily loot on the pixie deposit chest is healthy. You can always reassign your pixies to other tasks if you need more of something else.

The more you release in the pixie cave, the more cards and blessings you get. So, you can increase the number of them you can assign to a task (bound) and their efficiency (how much they can harvest every day), etc.

After playing "Everafter Falls" for a bit more, I figured out some things.

A. While your pet waters crops, water drones make this automated, and drone part upgrades (blue, red and gold) expand the areas for watering.

B. Figure out pixies asap. You can assign certain color pixies to certain jobs to make production faster on machines (red/rainbow), and then non-destructive resource collections from trees (green/rainbow) and minerals (blue/rainbow).

Rainbow pixies apparently do any of these jobs with more efficiency. In the last two images, mostly green pixies are harvesting dark and white wood every day.
