It's been a little over a week since EuroBioC2026 wrapped up in Turku, Finland.
The talks ended. The posters came down. But the conversations continue.

"Containers enhance reproducibility and provide an easy and convenient way to share the setups used to run an analysis. As part of the EuroBioc 2026 Hackathon, this working group got together with the aim of offering user-friendly and straightforward ways to create containers given the desired R packages, data and scripts, and importantly, coupled to the used Bioconductor release. I gave a [very] short presentation about reproducible analysis environment using #Guix and @arsann covered #Nix and {rix} for #RStats.
Although it was a short talk, I was surprised how many people came forward to discuss reproducibility in #EuroBioc2026 conference.
This is a good testament to the will of the community to adapt more robust and reproducible analysis environment.

This year's conference brought together 147 participants from 23 countries, showcasing the diversity of the Bioconductor community. We were inspired by 4 outstanding keynote speakers, engaging talks, posters, workshops, and countless conversations that sparked new ideas and collaborations.
