We are planning a community sticker hexwall for #EuroBioC2026, inspired by the incredible sticker collections featured at previous Bioconductor events. The wall will showcase package stickers from across the Bioconductor ecosystem.

📢 Deadline Extended: EuroBioC2026 Call for Late-Breaking Poster Abstracts and registration

Great news! The deadline has been extended to May 18, 2026, to allow more time for submissions and registration.

EuroBioC2026 will also feature a conference dinner inspired by the Finnish summer celebration of Juhannus, taking place on the beautiful island of Ruissalo on 3 June.

🎉 Announcing the EuroBioC2026 Sticker Design Winner!

🏆 Winner: Rafael Romero Becerra, PhD

🎨 Rafael’s design captures Turku with the cathedral silhouette over the Aura River, Turku Castle in the background, and a playful nod to the iconic Posankka at the river’s edge. A Finnish–Scandinavian folk-art border ties it together, offering a warm regional welcome to the Bioconductor community.

Ahead of #EuroBioC2026, Bioconductor, together with the University of Turku, CompLifeSci, and the Finnish Society for Bioinformatics, will host a Carpentries-style workshop on Microbiome Analysis with Bioconductor.
