It’s about a women who tells her friend to go after the girl he likes while secretly she’s also in love with him but knows he doesn’t feel the same. I remember being in my teen years, listening to this song and really feeling like I lost the love of my life. HA! She would bring up an audience member to the stage who was her “boyfriend” and demonstrate how to break up with them.
