[1/2] 𝔻𝔸𝕐 𝕋𝕎𝔼ℕ𝕋𝕐-ℕ𝕀ℕ𝔼: 𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗜𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 was the lead promotional single (along with 𝗧𝘂, 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗧𝘂) from the album 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙔𝙤𝙪. The song was written by Keith Thomas. The label was afraid to release it as a commercial single as they feared it might do better than 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂, the title track to the album. Several artists have covered the song including Jennifer Lopez for her 𝙇𝙚𝙩’𝙨 𝙂𝙚𝙩 𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙙 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧 & the 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙖 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙚…

[2/2] A slightly long version of this song was also included in 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙛 𝙔𝙤𝙪. VH1 created a music video to be used to promote the 3 disc 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 album. #MissingMyBaby #SelenaYLosDinos #SelenaLaLeyenda #SelenaQuintanillaPerez #EntreaMiMundo #DreamingofYou #Anthology #FullForce
𝔻𝔸𝕐 𝕋𝕎𝔼ℕ𝕋𝕐-𝔽𝕀𝕍𝔼: 𝗘𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗷𝗼 is from the album 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙛 𝙔𝙤𝙪. This was another song Selena recorded while she was sick. It gave her voice a more textured, hoarse sound to it. This song was also recorded for the 𝘿𝙤𝙣 𝙅𝙪𝙖𝙣 𝘿𝙚𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙤 movie. As a kid, I loved this just because of the “𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘰, 𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘰, 𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰” part. #ElToroRelajo #SelenaYLosDinos #SelenaLaLeyenda #SelenaQuintanillaPerez #DreamingofYou #DonJuanDeMarco
𝕋𝕎𝔼ℕ𝕋𝕐-𝕆ℕ𝔼: 𝗜’𝗺 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 was one of Selena’s English songs from her album 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙛 𝙔𝙤𝙪. It was written by Diane Warren. It talks about someone being in love and getting used to that other person and being around them. This was one of three songs that was also remixed by David Morales. #ImGettingUsedtoYou #SelenaYLosDinos #SelenaLaLeyenda #SelenaQuintanillaPerez #DianeWarren #DavidMorales #DreamingofYou
[2/2] Selena & the Barrio Boyzz performed this song at the 1994 Tejano Music Awards. Selena wore these tight pants, with a leather jacket and hair swooped mostly to one side. The look was perfect and is one of my favorite looks of hers. #DondeQuieraQueEstes #WhereverYouAre #AmorProhibido #DreamingofYou #SelenaYLosDinos #SelenaLaLeyenda #SelenaQuintanillaPerez #BarrioBoyzz
𝔻𝔸𝕐 𝔽𝕆𝕌ℝ𝕋𝔼𝔼ℕ: 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂 is the title track for the album, 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙔𝙤𝙪. This song was originally written in 1989 for The Jets, an American R&B group. The Jets turned down the record. One of the composers for the song, offered it to Selena for her all English album. The song charted to number 9 on the Billboard US Adult Contemporary and number 11 on the US Hot Latin Songs. #DreamingofYou #DreamingofYouAlbum #SelenaYLosDinos #SelenaLaLeyenda #SelenaQuintanillaPerez

[2/2] When Selena recorded this song, she was sick, so her voice had a bit more raspy tone to it. She hesitated in recording because she didn’t want it to sound bad, but after her dad pushed her to give it a try, it turned out to be perfect and the hoarse voice blended well with the ranchera / mariachi style of the song.
