As bad as things are, I think we could probably fix most of our current #EndStageCapitalism problems within two generations with two (admittedly large) changes:
• hardcap inheritances
• eliminate family trusts
This doesn't address either the climate or the fascism quickly enough to help right now, nor does it address the issue of whether #capitalism can really be salvaged at all in the long term... But intergenerational hoarding is the root of many modern problems (including Musk and Trump)
Please expect more and more of this from our shitty media, as AI and climate change makes potable water impossible to afford.
(I do not know if this is real or satire, and am having an increasingly hard time determining the difference between the two)
Everyday somewhere, some ordinary person gets caught taking money from others. They get yelled at, jailed, must pay it back with penalties.
Everyday everywhere, billionaires take money from others and society in general with impunity.
Abolish billionaires!
If this is not presently the beginning of end-stage capitalism, what milestones might be yet to pass before the true "end" stage is reached?
