We're currently blockading Leonardo manufacturing site, 2 Crewe Road North, Edinburgh, EHS 2XS.

Why this site: Leonardo holds 26 UK export licenses to Israel and has "significant industrial capacities" in Israel. The Edinburgh factory produces components for the F-35 fighter jets and attack helicopters currently being used by Israel to carry out genocide in Gaza.

We are responding to the call of Palestinian trade unions to stop the flow of weapons to Israel and do what our governments are failing to do if our leaders fail to place an embargo. on weapons to Israel then we must form an arms embargo from below.

We act in solidarity with Palestine Action prisoners held on remand for protesting against genocide.

Please remember that this action aims to support resistance by factory workers, rather than shame them. Managers choose what to build, and UK-based Leonardo's workers have recently voted for strike action. There will be worker liaisons who will try to reach out to workers on the day."

En 25 minutes de reportage, l' « embargo » états-unien n'est évoqué qu'une seule fois, et le sujet n'est jamais approfondi.
