For anyone out there still using X, it appears that the platform is using user data to train its AI chatbot Grok — and it’s an opt-out process, not opt-in.

As @arstechnica reports, users of the platform have recently noticed a tickbox in X’s privacy settings, which needs to be checked in order to count your data out of Grok’s training. It’s not clear how long it’s been there for, but here’s how you find it so you can make that call yourself.
