Join the Democratic County Committees of Banks, Hall, Jackson, Stephens, and White for a Democratic Candidates Forum and meet-and-greet. This forum will be moderated by Melita Easters, Executive Director of Georgia WIN List. While the panel discussion will focus on the gubernatorial, lieutenant governor, and AG candidates, it also provides a valuable opportunity to hear from numerous other statewide and local candidates, allowing attendees to directly hear about their platforms and visions for Georgia residents. Doors open at 2:30 PM, the forum will be from 3:00-4:30 PM, followed by a meet and greet.

On March 10, Shawn Harris finished first in the special election for U.S. House, but we are not done yet! The runoff is April 7, with early voting March 30-April 2. Let's send Shawn Harris to be our representative in Washington, DC. Leadership Matters!
Join the Polk County Democrats as we reach out to voters to tell them about the special election. We are contacting Democratic voters who need a reminder to show up for the runoff.
Polk Democrats will be knocking doors and delivering campaign flyers throughout the county. Door-to-door canvassing is the most effective way to get the word out about this election and to get voters to the polls.
If you haven't canvassed before, it's fun! Get to know your neighbors and remind them how important their vote is.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. Wear your Shawn Harris t-shirt, or we will give you one.
We will meet in the parking lot beside McDonald's and carpool to the canvassing location.

In order to register Texas voters, you must first get certified as a Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR) by taking a Short One Hour training with us.

**Voter Registration Requirements**
* To **register voters**, you must be a **currently certified Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR)** in **Fort Bend or Harris County**.
* **Non-VDR volunteers are welcome** to assist with **registration status checks and outreach support**.
