For anyone interested -- and if you're not, too bad! I'm posting it anyway -- here's a mockup of the character sheet/worksheet for a middling-high level character (level 17 in Echelon, level 9ish in D&D).
I say 'mockup' and 'worksheet' because I don't think I'd want that big table on the front of the page, the notes down the left are probably more important while playing... but that table shows how the character was constructed.
Characters Without Context
A few years ago I was working on a quickstart set for Echelon. Until I got distracted (scope blown out because I Had An Idea) I was working on a small adventure with some pregen characters.
Given only the mechanical description of task resolution being "roll some number of dice and count how many meet or exceed a target number"), is there enough information to have a sense of what these characters are and what they do?
