🌍 Gotta do another cleanup run before this year ends but the weather hasn't been in my favor so far.
The local community cleans up the town once or twice a year but they completely ignore the forests even though they are a huge part of our advertisement.

Big sea glass haul today at Shark Fin Cove in Santa Cruz County, California. Gorgeous weather.

In the cove next door at Davenport Beach, I found my first ever purple piece of sea glass 20 seconds into my glass hunt.

I promptly left the beach, and I never wish to return again. You see, I don't hunt at beaches famous for their sea glass. It ruins the fun for me. It feels less... thrilling. It feels like cheating.

I am starting to get close to the end of the semester here in San Jose, and so I'm going to begin targeting areas that only I know how to get.

Today's bucket yielded lots of 15-40 year old trash.

It was a quiet day, mostly because temperatures reached 100°F today, or 37.7°C, and few wanted to be out. I fled to the shade, but I refuse to stop striking!
