The history behind this game is super interesting. There is no canonical "Trek" game as it is the result of years of people typing the code direct into mainframes and tweaking it in a kind of Cambrian evolution. I did a big write up on the Steam page for my version, CGA Trek, out today!

It also has some of my best art direction adhering to a strict magenta and cyan 4-colour CGA palette.

But ultimately, it's my love letter to the classic EGA Trek game from the 1990s.
