Bulgaria wants to buy French self-propelled artillery system CAESAR, the defence minister Atanas Zapryanov announced.

The Bulgarian Ministry of Defense is participating, through the EU's EDIRPA programme, in two project proposals - JAMIE for the joint acquisition of IRIS-T air defense systems with coordinator Germany, as well as CEASAR with coordinator France.
