Is https://noai.duckduckgo.com/ working for you? I get the following error message when trying to search:
"The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."
Is there any way to solve this?
If you search for famous artists on #duckduckgo , they change their logo to match the result.
On each search result, the Duck Duck Go logo is themed after the artist. The Monet duck is wearing a flatcap hat, the Van Gogh duck has a ginger beard, the Dali duck has a thin moustache, and the Kahlo duck is dressed in bright floral colours
I really liked #DuckDuckGo but in recent weeks or months its results for technical searches are vastly inferior to Google.
DDG routinely shows dozens of results from the same domain(s), or results vaguely related to the search terms. As if a lot of context is missing.
Prefixing my technical searches with "!g" to get Google results makes me sad but helps me find what I need.
And I hate it. Come on #Duck, get your act together.
I may have to switch away from the #DuckDuckGo browser, to @Vivaldi, at least for some sites.
It's not even for a security or privacy reason. Some sites do not consider "dark mode" users when they're being designed. Image backgrounds in some cases make "dark mode" mean "invisible text mode".
DDG doesn't have, or at least not obviously, a quick on/off per site. But it's built in with #Vivaldi.
For transparency : you can achieve this in #Midori with Dark Reader too.

Ich lasse beim Beenden meines Browsers immer alle Cookies löschen. Dadurch ist die Einstellung in DDG, KI-Features nicht zu nutzen, beim nächsten Start des Browsers wieder weg, da dies über Cookies geschieht.
