- The only thing they do is swap driving license cards to upgrade security and as a means to pull outdated driving licenses from circulation.
¹ Classes C/CE/D1/D/D1E & DE just require a medical checkup to get extended each 5 years. So does any commercial transporting permit. But that's merely a eye exam and listening test as well as motor functions and excluding any 'incapacitating illnesses' as per checklist. Classes D1/D/D1E & DE further require a psych eval since that's the necessary license to drive buses with > 9 passengers commercially (Truck drivers are only allowed to "deadhead" said buses without any passegers onboard!
