Lost track of the #DraftsApp actions I've shared (not that I've shared all that many...) and wanted to archive/delete a few action groups. So...
...built an action to create a registry of shared actions (based on a list copied from the Actions Directory). Then another action that scans the group I want to delete and logs the names of shared actions in the group.
Works, but the one flaw is unlisted actions... 🤔
Small shift in my #DraftsApp usage that only just became clear to me:
- my syntax defn uses an action to process [[wikilinks]] that tries to match a draft title exactly, offers a list of close matches to open in the event of no exact match being found, and the option to create a new draft with the wikilinked string if the draft I want doesn't exist (like NV).
- my syntax defines a [[?:string]] pattern that lists all references to the linked term, via another action.

It's an attempt to solve a small but irksome issue. My listening is spread across a range of different apps and platforms, and I wanted to be able to say "I'm in [insert mood/vibe]; show me a list of possible appropriate music" regardless of where that artist/album/playlist is hosted.
Nothing fancy, just a simple interface for a list of URLs organised under Markdown headings. Could be an interface for any such list.

Been (over-)thinking about sharing some of these #Draftsapp actions I've been working on. A few things get in the way. Largely, some of them are really dependent on other elements of my personal workflow. This daily dashboard, for example, has a graph panel that surfaces "time elapsed" bars from one of my other tracker actions. For it all to make sense, I'd have to share a whole bunch of actions. With supporting notes.
I guess that's what an action group is for...
I feel like i need to explore the scripting abilities of #OmniOutliner . I think the the document interface feels dated, but I could use it as a framework for tracking my charges.
I wish it had an interface more like #DraftsApp or #AppleNotes where I could access documents much more quickly.
If I could use it to access an API, lots of my issues could be overlooked.
I really do half-ass documenting the various #DraftsApp actions I dream up. A number of them end up unused, having seemed like good ideas in the moment. Takes time to figure out what actually sticks.
This week I discovered MyMind's Serendipity feature (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kt1Ix86mrw), and thought it could be useful in Drafts (pictured). Then figured I could use the same way of working for a spaced repetition workflow. Processing old drafts and surfacing old ideas that would otherwise remain buried...
