Here’s the DMA section re: sideloading. I read this to mean “Apple must make it possible for users to install third party apps OR app stores through means other than the App Store”

i.e. Apple could JUST allow sideloading apps without also allowing full-blown app stores

In such a world, power users could still sideload one-off apps like #Delta, #UTM, #DolphinforiOS, #Provenance, #PojavLauncher (etc.) *without* a mass App Store exodus — essentially preserving today’s status quo
