DaveI took #Walternate out for a 3 mile walk and I was more worn out than he was. At least he briefly napped too.

#Walternate has calmed down immensely since starting training last Sunday. I just took him for a walk and he walked at heal position for almost all of the walk, loose leash and everything. He's now no longer demanding I play, but playing when I offer to play, and no where near as rough. I'm very happy for this quick turnaround.
#Walternate is actually behaving tonight instead of nipping at me demanding to play. I'll take it.
