So, doctors in the NSW public system are striking between Tuesday and Thursday.

I have been scheduled for a gastroscopy on Wednesday.

I don't know if they're going to reschedule the scope because of the strike. They'll call with pre-admission information tomorrow afternoon, so I'll know then.. but if they aren't going to reschedule, do I cancel because I don't want to cross a picket line?

I can't see anything from the union (Asmof) about patients being asked to support the strike by cancelling procedures.. but is that because they don't think that patients would support them like that?

So, assuming that I don't get rescheduled, do I cancel my gastroscopy?

Does anyone know what Asmof is actually asking patients to do to support the strike?
