So to avoid laying unnecessary packages, I learned how to use DistroShelf in the course of barely an hour. It was daunting at first and suddenly easy to do! I passed through two apps from that emulated Ubuntu install to Bazzite.

It's quite automated, so there is not much fuss involved.

Ironically you can still use a Debian image in #Distrobox and export apps like they were native with #DistroShelf for things you don't want to ostree-layer or are not available in .RPM/flatpak.
