Got told at staff meeting that in supported living there will be lesser hours for service users. For example, if the current approved funding allows 9hrs per day for S.U. to have a staff, it will be cut down to 3 due to current goverment's possible changes if the Disability Support Services Bill passes.
Manager also said that they knew one day they will have to close down some houses for supported living but it will be faster under the current government and S.U. will have to move back in with families.
And all I can think of is: what if the s.u. don't have family left and if they still have family but are old and retired, what's going to happen?
