Reclaiming term ‘midgetism’ for analytical purposes - a practice not a person - a combination of heightism, disablism & mockery - e.g. ‘hiring out’ entertainers with dwarfism, reinforcing ableist beliefs specifically towards people with dwarfism - staring, taking photos etc. Freak show history.
