An update on my experiment with #DiGiDi -- holy crap this is great!

They are consistently approving my metadata within a day, then I'm seeing my stuff show up in major streaming platforms just a few days after that (Apple Music is *overnight*!!!)

All that remains to be seen is whether my stats stick around after I remove these things from the old services. Supposedly you just need to leave everything up concurrently for a few weeks and then remove the old, and it'll be fine. 🤞

A couple of months ago I did this tribute video to whistleblowers with my band Sort Morfar. The single "Whistleblower" is a rebellion against inappropriate snooping.  Against those who look through your mail and eavesdrop at your doors. Sort Morfar pays homage to those who protest.  Sort Morfar loosely translates to “Deep Dark Granddad”. The band name refers to the black clothes which was the uniform of the 80s punk community, and is a reminder that no one ever gets too old to go back to the ideals of that age.  "Whistleblower" was released on all streaming services via the Danish artist cooperative #DIGIDI. Lyrics, music and video by Sort Morfar recorded with one iPhone at the former ASA STUDIOS North of Copenhagen.
Music recorded and produced by Adam Schwartz in deep dark North West CPH
Mastered by Jens Rud of Dodo and the Dodos https://youtu.be/O4CHVTUE-xA.
