Listening to the audiobook version of #Dhalgren, and it has actually let me appreciate little descriptions of things that I had glossed over when reading it before. #SamuelRDelany can really turn a phrase.

I should read Dhalgren again. I had a tough time with it, but I made it to the end. But I might have an easier time upon reading it again

It often occurs to me that Lou Reed would be my ideal embodiment of "Kid" in a nonexistent film of "Dhalgren", that's the Lou Reed of both Rock and Roll Heart and Berlin.

Dhalgren was published in 1975, right between the two albums.

I don't know who else would think the same thing.
