@thomasjwebb I would change nothing about what you do, except to double down on the things that are uniquely YOU. That's our superpower, regardless of what field you're operating in. It has the very nice knock-on benefit that it's how you find joy in your work *and* it's how you actually can do your best work.

I'm not the first to have the thought that we're outsourcing way too much of our human lives/activities/meaning to the machines, but boy does AI make that impulse transparent and clearly toxic.

But also: there are so many ways we need to re-examine our relationship to technology (and btw to nature, those are entwined, and of course to each other). Humanity needs to level up its wisdom, stat.
