Playing with #UbuntuTouch: while having a native #Linux terminal is great, I noticed several relevant lacks. Apart many users with #GPS issues, a native mail client is missing: #Dekko2, the β€œmost suggested” one, appears to be discontinued, while both it and the main OS (!!) do not support #OAuth2. So the best option is to stick with #webapps, or to use #Waydroid, an internal #Android emulator, with limits (such as the impossibility to share #notifications with the main os). What am I missing?

I vaguely remembering going to install that on #UbuntuTouch years ago, and not liking that it said that installing it gave the app to everything on my system.

Maybe (almost) all apps on #UBports do this, but this and the fact that it seemed to have not been updated in ages put me off trying at the time.

That was a long time ago though.

Dekko Namespace Change

All future Dekko development will now take place under the original namespace of dekkoproject. This is setup and ready to go. To keep receiving the latest updates follow the steps below:

1. Close Dekko 2 CE
2. Uninstall Dekko 2 CE
3. Install the latest Dekko 2 from the OpenStore.

That's it. All accounts, emails etc. are kept and you're all setup.
