Fancy SandwichesI'm beginning to think that Facebook's big rebranding to Meta, and push to the "Metaverse", was indeed a huge success, and not at all the failure that I had assumed it was. It clearly allowed a lot of folks to completely forget who Meta are, what they've done in the past, and what they're capable of today.
I'm currently stewing on another blog post. I think I'm going to try to address the bullshit argument that blocking Meta is worthless because "they're already able to scrape all the data they want".

Wow, my thread from earlier this week about my concerns around Meta entering the Fediverse is really popping off right now. For those interested I am actively writing a blog post that goes into more detail around my concerns, that thread really didn't say that much. I'll hopefully have something up this weekend.
