If all you do is blindly vote for another moderate centralist, you will once again be told that unity is more important than accountability and change.
All the wrongs committed and enacted will either be dismissed by the next news cycle or endlessly talked about and debated, but few if anything will be made right. This awful state of affairs will once again be established as the new normal, all while we are told something should be done, but without doing anything really about it. And your elected officials may encourage you to protest so that you may feel like something is happening, all while nothing actually changes — waiting for people to slowly move on and accept this as how things are.
If you want to end this awful cycle. If you really want to make a difference. If you really want your vote to mean something beyond a symbolic gesture, and beyond waiting for everyone to "accept" this as our status quo — Do something different and vote progressive.
