We're taking Pip in for surgery tomorrow. The vet said she's never seen anything quite like his situation. I hope this resolves things and gets some clarity.

#Dayenu has a new nemesis, which is to say there's a new neighborhood cat spending time in our backyard.

I'm happy for him, because it gives his life excitement, but I do resent other people's cats bothering the birds in our yard.

My coworkers have passed out, after a morning of running, hissing, growling, and generally enjoying themselves.

I came downstairs this morning and heard a loud thump, almost as if a large cat jumped down from the spot on top of the microwave where he is not allowed to be.

When I emerged from the bathroom, #Dayenu was egged on the kitchen table like he'd been there for hours.

Dayenu is Hebrew for "it would have been sufficient." This Hebrew song is traditionally sung at the Jewish holiday of Passover, at the Seder. Our Jewish Dayenu design is great all year, but especially awesome for Passover!

I have the a/c off and some windows open, and I lit some incense to keep the mouse smell at bay. A couple minutes ago, I started smelling something burning that wasn't incense: the Reek of Wrongness (TM).

I finally got up to look, and there's #Dayenu, on the stove top, poking at the incense with his paws. It was the Reek of Burning Fur I smelled.

Luckily he didn't seem to feel anything. I guess his long fur is good for that, at least.
