Darkon Wargaming Club - Wikipe...
I have an absolutely heartbreaking idea for a side story in my #Darkon campaign at some point.
Basically the realm of Lamordia is based on Frankenstein, and one of the major NPCs in my current campaign is the exiled daughter of the ruler of that realm. Her backstory is that her father was overthrown by the equivalent of Victor Frankenstein, and I'm writing her out of the current story by having her meet up with a group of refugees from her homeland who are trying to win it back.
My #Darkon party is finally about to arrive in Rivalis where Van Richten is so I get to set up a whole new location for them. One of the unique things about Rivalis is the majority of its inhabitants are halflings so I'm trying to give it a unique flavor. Stuff like buildings being at a different scale for that population.
I'm also going to be adapting Bleak House which is a Van Richten centric module for 5th edition.
I just figured out how to get Ireena into my #Darkon game.
So in Ravenloft, there's a thing called the Cyre 1313, which is basically a ghost train and would be the perfect way to get her from Hell, where she currently is, to Darkon.
And if she comes from actual Hell, that would be a pretty good reason for her to attack the players on sight because she's expecting the worst. Also, one of them is an undead whose Patron is none other than Vecna.
When I was supposed to be sleeping I wrote this quick little thing about what's happening offscreen in my #Ravenloft #Darkon game.
This came up while I was doing gardening, and I'm like "Damn, this is the Baron."
Alcio is a less flashy person, but she's just as power hungry.
Plotting out what's going to be the biggest curveball I'm going to throw my players in my #Darkon campaign, which is the official introduction of Alcio Metus, and it's going to fucking destroy them emotionally.
It involves the lady Mayor, who they did like until they found out she's actually a manipulative bitch, and the guy they actually like, Marco, both dying by Alcio's blade.
