Does anyone have a remote desktop solution for #Linux and #Wayland that actually works?

#RustDesk disconnects after about 10 seconds, and #DWService gives me a garbled screen.

This is attempting to connect to a Fedora 43 Plasma laptop. Trying to support a family member that's clear across the country, RIP me lol.

No, I can't just use VNC/RDP and tailscale. If I had thought of it when I was setting it up, that would've been great. XD

Any ideas, #HiveMind?

It seems that #Tailscale is having issues, so I can't remote to my lab computer.

If you ever hear me say, "Yeah, I'm going to install Linux on my family member's laptop that lives 1000 miles away, I'm sure I'll be able to help them out over the phone if anything goes awry," kindly don some really well-padded, oversized boxing gloves and punch me in the face as hard as you can.

One hour trying to help my uncle with Fedora to access the documents from his old windows HDD. I finally had to resort to using #RustDesk, which worked for about ten seconds at a time.

I also tried installing #DWService, which worked, but gave me a garbled, interlaced-looking screen.

Oh yeah, #Wayland is TOOOTALLLY ready for prime time, my foot.
