Andy BrokawToday's midday caffeine is Volcanic Inferno from D&Tea in Bellingham, WA. It's a lapsang souchong blend featuring mango and pineapple, which would have intrigued me enough to order it even if lapsang souchong wasn't my favorite type of tea.
I'd never thought to blend smoke and fruit, but it works well. I hope they continue to make it, although I've seen many boutique companies cut smokey teas as they're somewhat polarizing.
