Lots of backups on hand, but when you get low on the fancy stuff, you start to crave it a bit more.
Forgot to add #LapsangSouchong to the order, and as I'm just enjoying a smokey cup of that now, I noticed that only a couple more servings remain in the tin.

Andy BrokawToday's midday caffeine is Volcanic Inferno from D&Tea in Bellingham, WA. It's a lapsang souchong blend featuring mango and pineapple, which would have intrigued me enough to order it even if lapsang souchong wasn't my favorite type of tea.
I'd never thought to blend smoke and fruit, but it works well. I hope they continue to make it, although I've seen many boutique companies cut smokey teas as they're somewhat polarizing.

My wife and I are big #tea drinkers. We drink a lot of #EarlGrey, #LadyGrey and #LapsangSouchong
We have been buying Twinings largely out of habit, but now they've stopped making Lapsang, and their "Distinctively Smoky" substitute is no replacement at all.
So: first, where else can I get good Lapsang Souchong at a reasonable price (ideally as teabags but loose is acceptable).
And second, are there better/cheaper Earl Greys and Lady Greys available elsewhere?

I've drunk a lot of "Lapsang Souchong" over the years, but those from Tong Xin She Teahouse remain my favorites, especially this "prize winning" version from 2017. One of the very few where the tea isn't completely overwhelmed by the smoke. Elegant.
