It wasn't accepted by LearnXinYMinutes but I wrote a #IPFS walkthrough reference folks might be interested in.

Learn IPFS in Y Minutes

I'm happy to announce that today is my first day at the #IPFS Foundation. I'll be working on tooling, #DASL, #IPLD and related tech like #ATProto. With a focus on geo. So I'm doing more #geospatial things again. Stay tuned #FOSS4G.
Realized today that the #dasl machine should be called #daasl (Dynamic, Asynchronous, Application-Specific Logic) which not only makes more sense but resolve the acronym collision.

My intention for the #dasl machine is to be a high-performance computer for a post-cloud, post-generative AI world. Something to be used to rebuild.

But I realized that it even parts of it, incomplete, could be used to amplify these things before they have run their course.

I’m rethinking how much I’m going to share about this machine publicly in light of this realization 🤔

I don’t want to help make things worse.

A tray has been allocated, now it’s a real project.

In case your wondering why I have the audacity to take-on a next-generation supercomputer project myself, here’s a link to the letter that provided the inspiration:

In the spirit of making incremental progress every day on my new supercomputer design, I've selected some hardware from the parts bin that perhaps surprisingly should be "good enough" to make a lot of progress.

On the extreme other end of things, got a little time to experiment with building the the #dasl visual programmer (which I'm now calling #dasler)
