DevorppaI finally got a photo of the very camera shy #Currawong that lives in our yard. I put the food out as usual and the Currawong was the first one down (maybe to get in before all the #Galahs overrun the feeding areas. I had not even climbed the stairs to the deck and it was happily eating the #bird food.

Ewen Bell 📸I had to include my favourite murder-bird in this thread. Such elegant little killers. I love that song, and the way they move as a group. They flow through a habitat. When they stare you down, you get a sense that there a lot going on behind those bold yellow eyes.

#Birds are funny creatures - I put the food out and the dopey headed pigeons (Crested Pigeons) came down for a brief time, then the #Galahs came down and shooed away the pigeons. More galahs came down and much eating was done until a #Currawong came down and everyone flew away.
Then the galahs came down en masse and the pigeons just got to look on.
