Tried some collage + mixed media on #curatorprompts23 which was fun, I might try and experiment more with this style (I certainly have plenty of old magazines and catalogues scurried away to play with heheh)
ornellaJust before bed: #CuratorPrompts23, this time in #2MinuteSketch es. Very challenging esp at first, because it was hard to even know how much time 2 minutes is, if that makes sense? But I think you can tell the bottom right (last one) I used my time a bit better than top left (first one).
Anyway this is fun and I’m really enjoying these

The first attempt became a blobby mess. Lesson learned. No wet-on-wet #watercolors for such a short time limit for me!
The second attempt was less blobby. I feel tempted to go in and attempt to "rescue" them once they dry a bit more. Difficult, but fun! They appear here in reverse order.

The pier image really inspired this little lo-fi-ish piece. Not a visual sketch, but some music. 30 minutes can still be considered a "sketch", right? 😅
