After lots of exploration and doubts, I have circled back to the conclusion that I write software to make money. The things I do with the money that i make by coding make me happier than coding does.
Coding is the most enjoyable way I’ve found to make money. If I am trying to challenge myself intellectually, at least at this point in my life, I find it more enjoyable to do that with humanities than tech tbh. And I’m gonna make myself comfortable with that fact again!!

I am feeling so so loved and supported. I’m not even going through anything difficult — but I notice how my friends and family take care of me, especially in everyday ways, like watching Pixie, cooking for me, driving me places, or making sure I’m included in group convos. I can’t be thankful enough.
I’m very lucky to have found them, especially after only one year in my new city.
