AndrewSomewhat disappointed I missed #CubaDupa this year, but various activities for my kids made it hard to attend. Worst part is we drove across Cuba St *three times* yesterday morning.
VenetiaBack home in Wellington, made it to a tiny bit of #CubaDupa, enjoying Dateline's performance - best live act with a totally unpolished vocalist I've seen in ages. Great fun!

People who follow me know I like music. I like lyrics and tunes and variety. Not so keen on hours of repetitive drums with bassy beat coming from my neighbour's place. I'd hoped they'd go to local #CubaDupa festivities while I was in #Wellington NZ shopping. Nope. 😒

LotographiaI didn't do much on the final day of #CubaDupa, just followed around this high energy dance troupe. For this one we were given headphones which played music for us and blocked out the rest of the festival, which made it feel like we were in this little bubble world. I really enjoyed it.
Looking through the festival schedule there are dozens of events I would have liked to get to if I hadn't been volunteering, but as always I get more enjoyment from volunteering than from merely spectating.
