What I love about volunteering is that there's so much variety, like currently I'm sitting in on a Footnote Dance rehearsal, which feels like my own private performance 🕺💃
Helping move things, and I just dropped a barrel on a parked car 😬
(Fortunately it was just a police car, and it suffered no damage that I stuck around to find out about)
Today for #CubaDupa I am in pink and high vis orange, which is not quite the combination I would have picked out for myself
I didn't do much on the final day of #CubaDupa, just followed around this high energy dance troupe. For this one we were given headphones which played music for us and blocked out the rest of the festival, which made it feel like we were in this little bubble world. I really enjoyed it.
Looking through the festival schedule there are dozens of events I would have liked to get to if I hadn't been volunteering, but as always I get more enjoyment from volunteering than from merely spectating.
